Night dives are offered upon request. If you have not experienced night diving, you don’t know what you are missing. “Same play, different characters” is how night diving was once explained.
While we are happy to run a boat night dive, Grand Cayman Dive/Off The Wall Divers recommends a shore dive at Turtle Reef. To many of the locals/dive community, Turtle Reef is the premier shore dive in Grand Cayman.
Turtle Reef offers a mini-wall, just offshore that is an abundance of sea life. A night, the colors of the reef are highlighted by one’s dive light. Basket stars, orange-ball corallimorphs, up to five type of lobster, seven types of eel, and a lot of activity and strange creatures of the night.
